If you're trying to figure out how to actually use AI day-to-day and avoid slow, manual work and wasted time, we're running a short session to show simple, real examples in the tools you already use.

This is a practical, working session where you'll learn how to use AI across Outlook, Excel, and Word in a way that's simple and practical for day-to-day work.

What we'll cover

Before we jump into the demos, we'll explain what Microsoft Copilot is, what it can and can't do, and how to approach using it so you can get the best out of the tool.

You'll then see practical examples of how to use AI in:

Outlook

How to summarise long email threads, draft replies faster, and adjust tone without losing accuracy or control.

Excel

How to ask questions about your data, spot trends, create simple summaries, and get help with formulas.

Word

How to draft documents, shape reports, summarise longer files, and turn rough notes into something more useful.

We'll also cover what to prioritise, what to ignore, and why AI still needs clear instructions and human review.

Who this is for

This will be useful if you're:

  • Currently using Microsoft 365 but unsure how to apply AI.
  • Trying to speed up day-to-day work but don't know where to start or what to use.
